The Tractor Lights

A Jar of Jam - The Tractor Lights

T he majority of IRGC Cooperation missions were strange and unpredictable. You know a martyr does not need ablution. But we found out a martyr was wounded in the battlefield and passed away behind the frontline due to another reason fourteen days after his burial. T his meant we had to sneak and exhume, perform ablution, and bury his body. All that had to be done without alerting his .family We started to go to the village by 10 p.m. and parked the cars before reaching there. We started the mission after 11 p.m. when the generator of the village .was shut down At the beginning, we had used masks due to the potential unpleasant scent of the body. Even we had predicted a rotten body. however, after we removed the grave stone, we found the body intact with no unpleasant smell. The wound in the martyr’s head did not allow us to perform ablution using water. So, we washed the seven body positions and performed ablution with sand. We prayed on the body, but the light of a tractor .enlightened the cemetery out of the blue T hree of the boys went to the tractor to tell the story to the driver. The driver was scared seeing the masks hanging their neck and fainted. One of the boys who was from that village recovered him and explained everything. The following day, there was a ceremony and no one noticed what had happened. Until the fortieth day1 when the driver lost his patience and .told everyone the whole story
