The Good Days to Come
A Jar of Jam - The Good Days to Come
I always believe God tests people based on their capabilities. I even believe the amount which one loves God is different not related with the amount and type of the divine test. That day, Mrs. Seddigh entered the office quite worried for her husband. “What’s the latest news of my husband?”, she asked her colleague, Mr. Ebrahimzadeh. His phone rang before he could reply and he got busy talking on the phone. This was her opportunity to take a peek at the book of the missing and find Abolghasem Zhian Pasandideh under the letter P. She choked up and did not feel well. She was sent to the doctor and took some medical tests. The second phase of the test was the result of the tests which showed she was pregnant. She was carrying a baby that did not let her forget her husband for a second. The icing on the cake was people’s look and their muttering with regret. The situation got worse and they said the boys in Cooperation were disappointed in search of her husband, so they were to hold a funeral for his soul. She persuaded IRGC not to perform a burial. Then, she took the picture of the ceremony to home. She spoke with her husband and cried a river. She hid the picture to avoid worrying her mother in-law. The days of her suffering were passing and one day, a letter from the Red Crescent came saying her husband was alive. Now she had a victorious smile and proudly hung the picture on the wall. She kissed her son and informed her mother in-law. Then, she sat at a corner to think .about the good days to come
