Brick-Counterattack

A Jam of Jar - Brick-Counterattack

Mr. Valizadeh was a master of delivering the news of martyrdom, he calculated every aspect and, in his own way, told the news to the family quite smoothly. In that day, he was slowly approaching two young men near the doorbell of the martyr’s home with complete solace. When he reached them, he gently put his hand on the shoulder of one of them. “You are young, you are patient, God give you strength for your brother…”, he said with a gentle tone. He didn’t finish his word when one of the youngsters bent and picked up a brick and it ruined Mr. Valizadeh’s calculations in a blink of an eye. I was close to the car, so I got behind the wheel at full tilt. The first brick hit the car. The second was aimed at Mr. Valizadeh. I got the car to his shoe tie; he bent his head and dodged the brick. We ran out before the third brick would come. We were lucky to get out of there alive and even the car window remained intact. We hoped no one saw us in that .position To tell the truth, Mr. Valizadeh wasn’t made for this, not even me. There were plenty of martyrs those days, so the Cooperation section got help from us to deliver the news to families. It wasn’t that bad at all, at least I found out why my pals in Cooperation were watching for .counterattacks behind the frontline
