A Woman’s Dream Is Not Revers in Meaning
A Jam of Jar - A Woman’s Dream Is Not Revers in Meaning
It was January 1982 when they broke the news of martyrdom of my husband’s commander, martyr Alimardan. It was then that my dad told me, “Dear Fatemeh, God forbids you from becoming the widow of a martyr”. This made me very nervous. Although, the night before, I had a dream where my husband was laughing on a stretcher while a bullet had hit his head, but he was very happy and since then I was nervous. I said to myself a woman’s dream is reverse and inshallah they will bring us the news of him doing good. But what my dad said just erased everything. I got so scared, checked the TV all the time until after two days the newscaster of Khorasan channel announced that the next day, they are holding the funeral of 25 martyrs, and the fifth name he mentioned was my .husband’s Now Fatemeh became a martyr’s widow and her mouth was locked from the sorrow. The next day, they held the funeral of martyr Ali Akbar Jaberi. The ceremony took place from the mosques in Khosravi Street, Mashhad. The bodies were carried on the shoulders of people. Ali Akbar was shot in the head in Chazzabe1 and his wife never believed that a woman’s dream is reverse in meaning anymore.
